計畫介紹
本計畫計有三個子計畫分別為臺灣省級機關檔案數位化子計畫、臺灣鹽業檔案數位化子計畫及臺灣總督府府報資料庫建置子計畫等，將陸續所建置完成之資料庫及影像，透過網路檢索介面，提供各界瀏覽查閱使用。
The digital Archives Project of Japanese Rule and Postwar Historical Records
This project includes three projects：
The Digital Archives project of Taiwan Provincial Level Institution、The Digital Archives project of Taiwan Salt Industry Documents and The Project of Building Taiwan Sotokufu Gazette Database. Will one after another establish completes the database and the phantom, by the network retrieval interface, provides the browsing consult use from all walks of life.
臺灣省級機關檔案數位化子計畫
臺灣省政府是戰後初期治臺最高行政機構，而「臺灣省級機關檔案數位化計畫」即是將臺灣文獻館與臺灣省政府檔案中心所典藏之臺灣省政府各級機關檔案(1947~1999)影像數位化，並建立資訊系統之長期計畫，又結合本館第一期 數位典藏計畫成果，將可提供自1895年日治時期經戰後初期以至1999年精簡臺灣省政府組織止，前後百餘年來臺灣各時期省級機關檔案數位影像，不僅可達到保存臺灣省政建設發展歷程，並可提供研究歷史學者們第一手史料素材，且對於臺灣歷史的完整性亦有相當的助益。
The Digital Archives Project of Taiwan Provincial.At the initial stages of postwar Taiwan, Taiwan Provincial Government had been the highest administration machinery that governed Taiwan. The Sub-Digital Archives Project of the Taiwan Provincial Government Institutes is to digitize the documents of Taiwan Provincial Government from 1947 to 1999 that are currently collected in the Archive Center of the Taiwan Historica and the Taiwan Provincial Government.
In the long run, an information system will be set up. In addition to the accomplishment of the first phrase digitization project, the whole project will be able to provide the digital images of all documents for more than one hundred years from 1895, the period of Japanese rule, through post-war, and to 1999, when Taiwan Provincial Government was downsizing. Not only can it preserve the history of Taiwan’s development, but it also can provide the history researchers with first hand historical materials. It will also be helpful for the completeness of Taiwan history.
臺灣鹽業檔案數位化子計畫
「鹽」不僅是民生必需，亦被廣泛運用於農業、工業、醫療等用料，其價值並未因時代遞變而有所減損，臺灣早期經濟產業發展中「製鹽業」曾有過輝煌的黃金歲月，但隨著經濟快速發展及產業結構變化，傳統曬鹽終不敵外在環境衝擊而走入歷史。
「臺灣鹽業檔案進行數位化子計畫」即針對國史館臺灣文獻館典藏之日治、政府播臺前及政府遷臺後臺灣鹽檔案，逐年進行數位化、後設資料著錄及網路查詢服務，期能有系統紀錄、保存臺灣鹽業產業之精彩片段，讓社會大眾瞭解日治時期臺灣鹽業發展始末，亦提供研究臺灣鹽業史、產業經濟史之重要佐證線索。
The digital archive project of Taiwan Salt Industry Documents
“Salt” is not only necessary for people's livelihood, but also applied widely to be the raw material of agriculture, industry and medical science. The value of it has not reduced with the change of time, in Taiwan’s early development of economic industry, there had been glory days for “Salt Industry”, but along with fast economic development and change of industrial structure, the traditional solar salt finally can not resist against the external environment and passed into history.
This project is aimed to proceed archival digitizing image for Taiwan Salt Industry Documents, by using modern information technologies to establish catalogue and image database of Taiwan Salt Industry Documents during Japanese ruling period and after government’s moving to Taiwan, it will not only help people to understand the development of Taiwan’s salt industry, but also is valuable for investigating history of Chinese salt industry, technology and economy.
臺灣總督府府報資料庫建置子計畫
- 台灣總督府為日治時期台灣最高行政機構，其所發布之府報即等同於現今之政府公報，透過府報，可以查閱當時發布之各項重要行政舉措，包含法律、行政命令及都市計畫等各項施政。這些重要資料，可謂歷史研究者第一手確切史料，十分珍貴，因而數位化製作資料庫以利查詢，提供完整研究素材。
The Project of Building Taiwan Sotokufu Gazette Database
The Taiwan Sotokufu was the highest administration during the period of Japanese Governance in Taiwan. We can look up and find out various important measures of the Japanese rule period via the gazette. The gazette includes laws, administration mandates and urban projects, etc. These precious materials can offer the accurate primary sources for historic researchers. As a result, we digitalize the materials and build the database in order to provide the research documents completely.
重點工作
臺灣省級機關檔案數位化子計畫
- 98年度主要的重點工作有四項：
1.省級機關檔案蒐集整理與判讀及後設資料著錄完成省級機關檔案蒐集整理與判讀，並著錄後設資料18萬筆。
2.完成15萬9千頁影像數位化。
3.建置數位化典藏系統整合，提供民眾更迅速便捷之檢索服務。
4.利用本館數位典藏檔案創意加值「走過風雨-島嶼人民颱風記憶」，除提昇數典使用效益外，並建置天然災害線上數位百科資料庫系統，以豐富臺灣災害史資料庫。
There are four items key point work of 98 year:
1.We had completed the collection, compilation and interpretation of Taiwan Provincial Government Documents. At the meanwhile, it was be cataloged around 180,000 sheets of metadata.
2.There are 159,000 pages of Taiwan Provincial Government Documents that had been digitalized.
3.To integrate digital archive system to rise the efficient of search function.
4. We innovated the collected document to develop the project "Passing wind and rain-island people, Typhoon memory". In addition to enhancing the using efficiency of digital archive, and to build a natural disaster online Wikipedia database system in order to enrich the Taiwan disaster history database.
臺灣鹽業檔案數位化子計畫
- 執行標的：日治時期臺灣鹽業檔案
工作項目：
一、檔案總盤點：日治台鹽時期912冊、戰後檔案31,172冊，總計320,84冊。
二、資料庫及網站環境整備。
三、檔案掃描與編輯：本年度共處理95,000幅影像電子檔。
四、後設資料著錄：檔案判讀與分析並建立文件相關後設資料6,000筆。
五、提供線上檢索服務。Our priorities for 2009
1. Made an inventory for Taiwan Salt Industry Documents.
vision：Transformed Taiwan Salt Documents during Japanese ruling period into digital format and make them accessible to all.
2. Prepared Database and web environment.
3. Digitized the documents.
4. Set up the archive format for registry, description and interpretation.

臺灣總督府府報資料庫建置子計畫
1. 資料庫系統開發－包括建立系統需求規格書、資料庫架構等
2. 原件掃描－整理原件、異地備份等
3. 後設資料著錄－資料判讀與分析、建立著錄規範等
There are three items main key point work of 98 year:
1. Database system developments - establishing the system requirements
specification, and the framework of data base, etc.
2. Digitalizing the documents - finishing the originals, off-site backup, etc.
3. Metadata descriptions - Data interpretation and analysis, inputting standards, etc.
